Our groovy story began in 1976 when our founder, Charlie Seeger, started working as a Whirlpool Service Agent. Through different opportunities and experiences, Charlie was able to expand his knowledge to include heating and cooling products. Charlie and his wife, Suzi, faced challenging times; however, they rose against those odds because their mission focused on helping people—specifically in the budding areas of West St. Louis County.

By the mid-1980s, we had a name that was well known. We expanded our services to include installing replacement heating and cooling equipment. In 1986, Charlie’s oldest son, Chris, joined the staff of four full-time employees. Our company continued to grow throughout Missouri. Then in 1990, his second son, Travis, joined the staff full time.
After acquiring two competitors around 1996, our company experienced explosive growth and doubled in size. Our services grew to be able to tackle almost any job. Charlie, with the help of his sons, continued to grow Chesterfield Service by 10 to 15 percent every year.
By 2007, we reached 27 full-time employees. At the time, we were the largest and oldest, family owned and operated HVAC contractor in St. Louis County.
We have remained dedicated to upholding our reputation for excellent customer service at Chesterfield Service. Today, we provide heating, cooling, plumbing, indoor air quality (IAQ), and appliance repair services you can depend on.

Missouri Patriot Paws
We are a Corporate Sponsor of the Missouri Patriot Paws (MPP) Organization, which helps Missouri military veterans, and First Responders suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) with a trained Service dog, most of these dogs of which will be rescued from local shelters. Their goal is to help war heroes and first responders improve in their symptoms of PTSD, adjust back into civilian life, lead a more productive life, and help them build self-esteem. They also help the pet overpopulation problem by helping place shelter or rescue dogs into good homes. We are thrilled to be a Corporate Sponsor of Missouri Patriot Paws!
