How it all began...
At one time, the HVAC industry provided services on an "as
needed" basis. Once your HVAC system experienced a problem,
a contractor would walk in, take a casual look around and
hand you the bill. All too often consumers were left with
very little choices and practically no knowledge of their
equipment or its value.
In 1976, with nothing more than a truck and a desire to provide
the best service possible, Charlie Seeger set out to change
the way business was conducted within the HVAC business. Charlie
developed a consumer-centered business philosphy that remains
true today. Believing that educating the consumer about their
equipment, providing value, determining valid options and
navigating choices were the best way to conduct business.
As time passed so did Chesterfield Service. From that one
van and one man, we have grown into a fleet of 20+ vehicles
with approximately 20 full-time dedicated employees. Charlie
has since semi-retired turning over the management of the
company to his two sons that have worked side by side with
Charlie over the years.
